Sleep can be really frustrating, right? Well, just like grown-ups, kids can have trouble with sleep too. There are different kinds of sleep problems that kids can have.
Sometimes, kids have trouble falling asleep, and they might toss and turn for hours. This may be insomnia. Other times, kids might wake up a lot during the night, and it’s hard for them to get a good night’s rest. That may be sleep fragmentation.
Then there are kids who have nightmares or night terrors, which can be really scary and make it hard to want to go to sleep. And some kids have sleepwalking or sleep talking, where they do things in their sleep without even knowing it!
